Whispers of the seasons

A fall day with no rain, over Thanksgiving weekend – perfect time for a walk around the neighborhood with the camera. (The real one, not the one with the ringtone.)

It had rained the day before, leaving behind huge puddles which the birds were using to full advantage.

The wind had brought down some of the few remaining leaves, their colors still bright.

And then I looked up to see the monochromatic wisps of seed pods almost the same color as the overcast sky. (This turned out to be the perfect shot to try out the new Moab Slickrock paper – the print glows from within like liquid silver.)

What'cha think?
