Japanese woodblock print

One more from the conservatory. I guess the proximity to the Seattle Asian Art Museum put me in mind of Japanese woodblock prints, and this spray of begonia blossoms posed obligingly.

Shallow depth of field and flat light from the frosted window behind give this image an ethereal feel.

Yes, you have captured that Japanese woodblock “feel” beautifully. This is a lovely, almost wistful image- – -how long will the blossoms last? How fleeting our lives?

What'cha think?
